World Engineers Convention 2019 will be held in Australia, the home of iconic engineering projects from the Sydney Opera House to the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric scheme.

At this event, hosted by Engineers Australia in partnership with the World Federation of Engineering Organisations, you’ll build networks with leaders in global engineering practice. WEC invites presentations from national and international speakers across the spectrum of engineering disciplines. The convention program features multiple tracks with presentations on themes including:

Our venue – the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre – is located in the heart of Melbourne on the edge of the Yarra River. Setting new world benchmarks, the MCEC is the first convention centre to be awarded a ‘6 Star Green Star’ environmental rating by the Green Building Council of Australia. The centre is also raising standards to new heights in innovation, technology, imaginative catering and service options.
The MCEC is easily accessible from every direction by foot, car or public transport and is surrounded by cafes, bars, shopping and fine restaurants.
Melbourne, Australia is the home of WEC 2019: a city surrounded by natural beauty and some of the finest cultural experiences in the southern hemisphere.
